Insurance Broker Support - Workers Compensation

Aon is looking for candidates with general insurance and/or Workers Compensation experience who have a passion for Broker and client service and stakeholder management with an interest in developing their insurance career. This role forms a key part of the local service team that supports Human Capital Workplace Risk Brokers and clients.

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work from home and from our Aon office.

What the day will look like

Your day will be busy with a focus on Broker and client servicing, which will be the key to your success!

Responsibilities:  

  • Proactively assist in the technical development of support teams through training, coaching, and quality assurance reviews.
  • Actively participate in planning and coordination activities and meetings with support teams and other key stakeholders.
  • Provide effective, timely, and accurate administrative support to Workers Compensation Brokers across a variety of activities, including drafting reports, invoicing, and maintaining client accounts.
  • Support, coach, and train junior members of the service team.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, such as Brokers and support teams.
  • Enhance the client and broker experience through outstanding customer service.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

To be successful in this role, you will be passionate about a career in insurance and have strong administration and customer service skills.

Our ideal candidate will relate with the following experience: 

  • Effectively servicing and supporting Brokers with their client accounts
  • Working knowledge of Workers Compensation insurance (highly regarded)
  • Client service, underwriting, claims or insurance broking experience (highly regarded)
  • Developing and maintaining successful stakeholder relationships
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem solving, and planning skills
  • Training, coaching, and developing team members
